Savoring Summer
Anyone else getting a hankering for cooler temps, crisp air, the smell of wood smoke and everything pumpkin? Can I get an amen? The past few days we have had slightly cooler temperatures in the evenings, which has only teased my fall cravings. However, I have to keep reminding myself that fall is not here just yet and we still have a little bit longer of hot summer weather left here in Alabama. Christmas in August
We just returned home from a wonderful weekend filled with all things Christmas Trees. Yes, you heard me, Christmas trees in August! This past weekend was our annual Southern Christmas Tree Association Conference. Although our trees are still growing and our projected opening date is not until 2018, we are taking every opportunity to learn all we can about this industry to ensure we provide you with the most wonderful, memorable experience possible. And boy do we have some great ideas in mind. So stick around for farm updates and most importantly, when buying your tree this year remember-SAY NO TO FAKE TREES!

This weekend was a beautiful one. With the tease of spring in the air, birds chirping, daffodils blooming, the sun shining and temps in the 60s. It was great!Two of our very dearest friends just finished building their first home and moved in this weekend so I put together a simple, budget friendly housewarming gift.
